## History

Founded in 2001 by Dana and Ryan Durand. In 2024, new ownership (ten friends and previous guests) acquired the lodge in loving memory of Braden Coats, a devoted guest. The Durands remain connected to the lodge, and the commitment is to preserve everything that makes Favorite Bay special.
